Chicago Snow Studio invites you to join our 5th South American adventure at the beautiful Corralco Ski Resort in Chile. This is breathtaking destination on the slopes of Volcán Lonquimay in southern Chile. This immersive winter experience offers pristine snow, wide‑open terrain, and the rare opportunity to ski and ride in August—right in the heart of the Southern Hemisphere winter.
Surrounded by the protected Malalcahuello National Reserve, Corralco is known for its peaceful atmosphere, dramatic volcanic landscapes, and consistently excellent snow conditions. It’s the perfect setting for progression, exploration, and unforgettable mountain moments.
TRIP HIGHLIGHTS
SIX NIGHTS AT A PRIVATE CHALET MINUTES FROM THE SLOPES
We will be staying at a four bedroom chalet minutes from Corralco. Modern conveniences and panoramic views of the Andes. We will have breakfast and dinner family style (dietary needs can be accommodated), a great opportunity to reconnect with old and new friends to reminisce about your day.
DAILY SKIING AND SNOWBOARDING
Corralco offers beautifully groomed runs, gentle learning zones, and advanced terrain with minimal crowds. August delivers reliable snow and ideal conditions for all levels and the opportunity to see of the best racers in the world get in early season training.
ON‑SNOW COACHING WITH CHICAGO SNOW STUDIO COACHES
Lead Coach, MaryLu Cianciolo was previously a clinician and examiner with Professional Ski Instructors of America Central Region and is now in the processing of becoming an Advanced Childrens Educator (ACE) with the Eastern Region. MaryLu is PSIA-AASI Level 3 certified she and other coaches instructors provide personalized guidance throughout the week, helping you build confidence, refine technique, and make the most of every run. Erika Meier is a clinician and examiner with the Professional Ski Instructors of America (PSIA) Central Region as well as a Childrens Specialist and Senior Specialist. She has taught at Cascade Mountain for over 30 years where she serves as Training Coordinator and leads weekly instructor training with womens and senior clinics. Erika also extends her winter and is on staff at the Vail (Colorado) Snowsports school.
COMMUNITY AND CONNECTION
Shared meals, group activities, and a warm, welcoming atmosphere make this trip a highlight of the year. Guests return for the camaraderie as much as the skiing.
